About Bhumista

Founded in Satkhira, Bhumista emerged from the belief that true change starts from the ground up. In one of Bangladesh’s most climate-vulnerable zones, we work hand-in-hand with local communities to create lasting impact — one project, one person at a time.

Youth Programs

In the rural heartlands of Satkhira — including Ashashuni, Kolaroa, and nearby unions — Bhumista provides essential school kits, scholarships, and community-based tutoring to underprivileged children. Many of these children are first-generation learners facing poverty, seasonal displacement, or lack of access to structured education.

By offering notebooks, uniforms, and midday snacks alongside mentoring, we aim to reduce dropout rates and ignite a love for learning. Our local tutors, often trained youth volunteers, act as positive role models, ensuring each child receives personalized support to stay in school and thrive.
